Smart, innovative and future-proof – Yusen Logistics Europe raises the bar for their finance-processes and –systems across its thirteen countries and headquarters. Ed Verbeek, CFO of Yusen, invited ComVertor to help them support this project.

ComVertor helped Yusen with the selection of a new ERP-tool and the contracting of a system integrator. Clever new technologies and tools don’t just streamline processes by themselves. Creating ‘use cases’ first was the key to our approach. Thoroughly defining what current issues there were to be solved, helped make smarter decisions.

The next step, inviting potential suppliers to demonstrate and explain why their solutions would fit best, after which we helped Yusen choose and contract the most compatible one.

Bringing the plan to life

Following this we worked with Yusen’s finance team and management to detail to-be standardized and optimized finance processes as the cornerstone of the new system plus advised on the best transformation and rollout planning.
